Details:
ArtUSA Acousti - Baffles are an
ideal solution to reverberation and overall noise
problems. These versatile baffles can be used in a
variety of settings including: auditoriums,
gymnasiums, indoor swimming pools, recreation centers
and production facilities. ArtUSA Acousti
Baffles are made from ArtUSA Industies’
willtec® foam, which is Class 1 fire-rated
according to ASTM E 84 for flame spread and smoke
density. Willec natural also meets the corner burn
test UL 1715. In addition to its high fire safety
rating, willtec foam provides excellent sound
absorption across all frequencies and helps prevent
noise build-up that interferes with speech
intelligibility. ArtUSA Acousti Baffles are
available in natural, painted or Hypalon® coated finishes. Our Hypalon® formulation
protects the foam from dust and dirt and makes it
possible to wipe baffles clean using only a damp
cloth. ArtUSA Acousti Baffles are equipped
with internal straps and grommets for easy
installation on ceiling mounted cables or chains.
Baffles can be aligned in the same direction or
arranged so that every other baffle is turned 90

Hanging Baffles and Banners - Hanging baffles and
banners are a very effective for acoustical treatment in large
open rooms. The acoustical baffles and banners have very high
sound absorption coefficients ranging from NRC .75 up to NRC
1.15. Acoustical baffles are designed to hang vertically down
from a ceiling, acoustical banners are designed to be hung
horizontally to a ceiling. Both are very effective sound
absorbers that work well to reduce reverberation and increase
speech intelligibility.
Baffles are an economical sound absorption method for absorbing
acoustic energy inside a room constructed of hard surfaces. Our
acoustic baffles are designed to be suspended from a ceiling to
lower reverberation noise.
